Article 1 - Purpose
The Mythodologie association aims to promote critical thinking and scientific skepticism. Its areas of action include:
- • Analysis of controversial phenomena (pseudosciences, paranormal claims)
- • Examination of scientifically debated societal issues
- • Distribution of critical thinking tools
- • Publication of educational content (articles, videos, conferences)
- • Understanding cognitive factors behind pseudoscientific beliefs
The association emphasizes respect for freedom of belief while rigorously evaluating evidence and reasoning.
Article 2 - Composition
The association comprises three categories of members:
1. Active members
Individuals who pay an annual membership fee after board approval. They have voting rights and can hold positions on the board of directors.
2. Honorary members
Individuals designated by the general assembly for services rendered to the association. They are exempt from membership fees.
3. Legal entities
Organizations, companies, or foundations wishing to support the association's activities.
Only active members can hold board positions, vote, or participate in deliberative assemblies.
Article 3 - Governance
Executive Board
The board consists at minimum of:
- • A President
- • A Treasurer
- • A Secretary
General Assemblies
Ordinary: held annually to approve accounts, elect the board, and define orientations.
Extraordinary: convened as needed for important decisions (statute modifications, dissolution).
Voting Rules
- • One vote per active member
- • Two-thirds majority required for dissolution
- • Quorum: one-third of members present or represented

In case of dissolution voted by at least two-thirds of members present at an extraordinary general assembly, one or more liquidators are appointed and net assets, if any, are transferred to an association with similar goals, in accordance with the extraordinary general assembly's decisions.
